Terms of service
Updated: 3 November 2026.
Administrator-issued access
GhostNet is a private, receive-only email service. There is no public registration. The administrator creates accounts and may disable, reset or delete them. Keep your password and any exported credential files secure. The service cannot send or forward email.
Accounts and retention
Your address persists with your account. Messages expire after 24 hours by default; the administrator can change retention separately. Deleting an account removes its inbox and attachments. Delivery, availability, acceptance by third-party websites and recovery are not guaranteed.
Fair use
Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, malware, illegal activity, evading access controls or overwhelming infrastructure. Bulk account generation is an administration feature, not permission to violate other services rules or impersonate real individuals.
Service limits
Each message is limited to 10 MiB including MIME encoding and headers. Each inbox retains up to 100 messages and 25 MiB raw. Up to 20 attachments and 100 MIME parts are processed, with text and HTML each capped at 500,000 characters. Excess content may be omitted. Inactive or nonexistent recipients are rejected. Generated batches contain at most 10,000 accounts and are processed in the background.
Security
HTML is sanitized and isolated; remote content is blocked. Attachments are not antivirus scanned. Senders are untrusted and phishing is possible. Do not use this service for sensitive information or important account recovery. Report problems through Contact.
